Auto Shops & Service Bays

Bay floors that shrug off oil, fluids and hot tires.

Bare concrete in a working bay soaks up oil and coolant, dusts up, and looks worse every month. A coated floor wipes clean, brightens the shop, and tells customers you run a tight operation.

What the floor has to handle

Built for your day-to-day

Fluids and stains

Oil, brake fluid, coolant and gas wipe up instead of soaking in, as long as spills are cleaned the same day.

Hot-tire pickup

A properly prepped, fully bonded system doesn't lift under hot tires, which is where cheap roll-on coatings fail.

Dropped tools and jacks

Full-flake broadcast hides scuffs and adds grip. Use pads under jack stands to protect any floor.

Visibility and safety

Light floors bounce your lighting around the bay, and painted lines mark lifts, walkways and no-park zones.

Who this is for: Auto repair and tire shops · Detail and tint shops · Fleet and service bays · Boat, RV and equipment storage

The system

What goes down on your floor

  • Diamond grinding to open the concrete (no acid etching)
  • Crack and pit repair
  • Moisture-tolerant 100%-solids epoxy base coat
  • Full-flake broadcast for grip and to hide wear
  • UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat
  • Optional safety lines around lifts and walkways

Scheduling

Most bays are coated in one day. Foot traffic is back in a few hours and vehicles in about 24 hours. Bigger shops can be done a few bays at a time so you keep working.

FAQ

Auto Shops & Service Bays: questions

How long is a bay out of service?

Usually one working day to coat, then about 24 hours before vehicles. We can split a shop into phases so the other bays stay open.

Will it hold up to lifts and jack stands?

Lift posts stay anchored where they are; we coat around them. Use pads under jack stands and creepers with good casters, and the floor holds up to daily shop work.

What about chemicals beyond normal shop fluids?
